Hamlet, sweet Hamlet. I don't even know where to start. This project was just crazy!
Assignment for my costume class was a concept for Hamlet and the realisation of this charackter for a presentation. I don't have my drawings done so I just put Hamlet and Ophelia in.
Well, I really like that play so I was ambitious to do my best possible.
Besides the concept I had a kind of feeling for my cast how I wanted my Hamlet to be like and when I discovered Julius Feldmeier, an interesting and talented actor, I thought he was perfect for it! So I asked him and he said yes! For Ophelia I had absolutely Sophia König, my good Spring Awakening mate, in mind that she'd be perfect for the role as well! And sure she said yes! Last but not least I wanted to have a seductive Dead so if you remember the Halloween pictures, no one but Nieka Irani of course could have been better!;)
Because I put quite some effort in this project I wanted someone who can take really beautiful pictures. So I asked Jérôme Sklorz who was responsible for the music if he knows someone.
That's when I met Andreas Schlieter. Funny thing is that he had already taken lots of pretty pictures of my friends so I had a good feeling about him and I hope you'll agree when you see the pictures from the shooting.
Then I want to thank Sonja Rösch my bestfriend who took care of the catering food and lots of other things! As well my mom, Charly Haupt and Lönja Malec who helped with the transport.
Deutsches Schauspielhaus and Boris for the equipment. Hochschule für Musik und Theater for the studio. Again Andreas for the main post editing as well Philipp Sklorz with the three constellation picture. I hope I haven't forgot anyone!
Seriously at the end of the day we were soooo exhausted!
So again thank you all! I love you! Awesome job! I hope you like the pictures!

Never ending!

So we are heading towards the end of the second semester! We're sooo stressed like always!
I don't even know where to start so I'm going to skip that.
I actually have tons of pictures that I wanted to post and I hope to do that by the end of february.. hopefully..
This here was for my painful painting class last semester. I tried to keep it up by motivating myself with biiig macarons! But that was the only good thing about it.
Last month I gave it to Padi for his 21th birthday.
I'm about to have my presentation for Hamlet and I'm really excited to show you some pictures from the shooting as well soon! Then pictures from my birthday, pictures from the second semesters and the stuff I did:) Last but not least I'm going to visit my best friend Sonja in South Africa in february for her birthday! I really need holidays since I didn't really have any yet!

My winter holidays I was mainly drawing stuff and preparing the shooting for my costume semester project and watched James Bond movies haha (A view to kill was a really good one beside Dr. No)
And this year was the first time that I have been sick so that I didn't make it to do all the things I wanted to do..
On my last day I'm going to do finally the shoot with the help of a handfull friends and then the last weeks of the second semesters will start! Stress, stress, stress!
I'm really excited and hope that everything will turn out well!

Actually I was reviewing 2011 and on my list of the things I did, I realised that I haven't post a lot of pictures I should have! Sorry! But I will!

Fate or a bleesing in disguise. Once I happened to be at the right time at the right place. I guess. I didn't expect anything at all and it turned out to be better than I ever thought.
Thank you Imke for asking me! We accidently ran into each other when she was looking for some help with this project! Actually we belive in fate!
So she prepared everything for Captain Capa's music video Rivals but couldn't be on set. So it was Valerie and I she hired for.
I wouldn't even know where to start the story all behind and during it but I can tell that it was a really cool experience. (Eccept when I was running around in the rain for two and a half houres and got totally lost but luckily I had my cellphone with me so they could redirected me to the right place. Or when I got stuck in the mud deeper and deeper.. but hey! The guys Saved My Life AGAIN! haha) The whole team was just amaaazing! So it was really fun to work with them because everyone did their best and it was absolutely worth it! I was really impressed!

So again thank you Imke, Valerie, Hannes, Hannes, Timo, Thole, Tjark, Julia:)

The video is about two guys fighting over a girl. In the end question is: Is all the fighting, struggling and suffering in a relationship worth it? Oh well, whatever, do me a favor and just check it out and spread it!:)

Hello, hello! It's been a loooooong time since I have drawn (or post) something the last time but I don't have school at the moment so I should have more time (which I don't somehow). But ok, it took me a week to draw this and of course I'm not quite satisfied because I can't recognise the person I've drawn. It's an actress. Do you know who this is suppose to be? 20s party with Marion. That was really fun & interesting. Why not walking around like this more often? haha Special thanks to Sonja, Claudio, Lina & Imke who helped us with the outfits:D
On our way to the party people were looking at us like "What the f*ck*?!" That was so crazy but at the party lots of people were pretty much dressed up properly (I mean most of them haha) and it was really interesting to feel the atmosphere. Sadly a camera team asked us to take out our cellphones and pretend like we have nothing better to do than whatever writing text messages?? hahaha Whatever! So don't get the wrong impression if you'll see that! We enjoyed the burlesque performance on stage, I played a bit Black Jack with fake Reichsmark, we met interesting people, they sold Absinth and we dance to amusing music. Yeah it was really nice to be there. Who's coming with us the next time?;)

On the 9th June was a livestream of Fairy Tales Disaster. A cooporation project with the Medientechnik and costume design students. That event was huge and about 30 students presented their work which was amazing! Really crazy! Sadly I couldn't take that many pictures because I was helping out myself but hopefully they will post the movie online because I didn't even get to see everything. Hey guys! So what's up? Last month has been really busy! I can't even remember all the things I did but luckily I took some pictures so that I can remember what I did!:)
Strange story short. Actually I was suppose to help a little out as an costume assistant but then ended up dancing in the movie because one of the three actresses quit the day of the shoot. We were pretty much outside of Hamburg (Geesthacht) and it had to be an asian girl - yeah what a coincidence... That was quite an experience. But crew was awesome! I was impressed by the teamwork and the good atmosphere! Jana and Hannah did the costumes which were really cool!
So here some impressions and I also put in some pictures that were taken by Johannes Treß and Duc Ngo Ngoc.

Last week was tough. Honestly I put too much work on myself and I quite underestimated the situation... luckily my friends cheered me up.
I'd also like to quote this text by Charlie Chaplin. So beautiful and inspiring. Actually I don't know much about him but I just found out that his birthday was exact a month ago on the 16th april:) Well, I still have a lot to learn! Especially how to love myself:)

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering
are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know, this is "AUTHENTICITY".

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody

Darkness follows in my steps - Sicker Man

Yesterday was "Hai in dem Mai" Party in the Schauspielhaus and Tobias Vethake composer of the music in "Hamlet" played there. So I found out that his band's name is "Sicker Man" and was able to find the song in Hamlet's play! I honestly rather like the ensemble singing it ('cause of the female voice) but it's still such a beautyful song:)
Sadly I forgot my SD card at home so I couldn't take any pictures of that night!!!
I was soo mad about that... But yeah isn't it always like that? The best moments you just can't capture in pictures! So sorry:) Love Life!

Impression of "Guess who?!"

So it's been only three weeks ago when college started and on our first day of costume design our prof von der Thannen said: "You're going to do the costumes for a student movie project. The directors will come in two hours and present their scripts. You team up in five groups. Two in each group." First reaction: Shocked! But then also excitement. I didn't know who to work with because I didn't really know anyone but luckily Claudio our only boy in class asked me:) Our prof first didn't want us to work together for some reason but then he agreed:) Because in the end we did make a good team, right? And I was so happy to work with him and just the whole team was great because we all want it to be really good and put a lot of effort in to it. At this point I have to mention that it didn't work all the way smooth at all and we did make some mistakes! Everything was stressful and on the second day we wanted to start shooting at 7 but I didn't get the hair and make up done by then so we were late and forgot stuff and all... but I guess that's normal:) So now I'm really excited about the product and I wish all they guys good luck with the post production!!! And here a special thank you from Claudio and me for the extra help with the costumes to Struppi, Susanne, Geseke, Marieke and Boris (plus for the accessories and the lamp!!!). So funny, my friend Padi got invited to a costume party but didn't have a costume so one hour before the supermarket closed in the Europa Passage Mall we went there and bought some candy, tape, newspaper and stuff to create an awesome costume! HAW Orientation Week A-Market

Last week my college time at HAW started with the orientation group and like each year they choose a theme. This year's theme was supermarket! Totally weird but turned out better than I thought! First day they mixed all the people from the department design into different groups and we made a tour. I really like it and I was impressed by all the stuff they have. I also thought that it was pretty cool to get to know the people that study illustration, communication design and together we really decorated the school into a huge market! Although I was in the film group which had to prepare a movie for the party. Funny thing is that actually no one in the group was a pro but somehow we handle the situation pretty good.. So here some impressions from the week!

Finally I got my camera back so that I can take pictures again! Feel so much better now hahaha:D Sonja, Meo and I were hanging around at the Kantine of the Schauspielhaus yesterday. Meo had chicken for lunch.

Let me tell you about this hat. Back in 2008 Meo played in the debut performance of American Youth in the Schauspielhaus where he got this hat from.

Role model for his characte was obviously Bunny Boy from the cult movie Gummo. I just loooove this hat! It's awesome isn't it?:D I also have to make me such a hat! By the way back then it was Chloe Sevigny who did the costumes for the movie. Awesome!
And yeah Meo had to wait 3 years to finally get his hat from the Schauspielhaus so yesterday was a good day:)

Accepted for costume design in Hamburg!

Yay! Finally I got accepted for costume design in Hamburg:)
So I wasn't able to post anything because I'm staying at my dad's house... and he basically borrowed my camera so I haven't taken any pictures since.. Right now he's in Vietnam and a week ago was the vietnamese New Year that's why...

Let's see what I've been doing... actually just working on a mask... I will post a picture as soon as I got it done, then there is this new art project about "Respect - for each other" it's likely the theater project where young people and seniors work together and Werte erleben e.V. is the organizer. My instructor in this project happens to be a stage designer so about two weeks ago she asked me if I'd like to do an internship. So now I'm her stage and costume assistent at a small theater play which is really fun and I got to learn a lot! But as useually I'm soo busy. I don't really get to prepare myself for my studies but the experience I make is pretty good and important too so it's worth it! Right now we're all in the process so I think it's better to show you all the things after the premier;)
By the way "spring Awakening" is still in the theater at least til may. In january we had a show which was sooo crap I mean seriously. I don't know what happened but even I massed it up right at the beginning and it was really, really bad, I swear! So when we had last week our show we were so focused! Incredible, I was so impressed. We definitly didn't want to embarassed ourself like that again hahaha but honestly most of the audience people are freaking adolscent teenager and they just had to go to our play because they had to read the lecture in school so most of them are not use to watch theatre and yeah.. that's really difficult because I think they don't realise that we hear them on stage or they do it on purpose which'd be even more disrespectful... but I mean that means that we always have to be really focused and make them speechless because our play is entertaining, special and interesting to watch:) to be honest I also enjoy beeing on stage and next season I will totally miss it! Also my membercard which allows me to go to all the other theater plays in the house (almost) for free! hahaha that's why I almost go 3 times a month to the theater:D and like the first friday of the month is this party called "Haifischbar" sometimes really good and sometimes less but it's like an addiction when you fall in love with the theater it's difficult to stay away from it... all the crazy and sick people, keeping up the dreams in a facade but right now I still feel comfortable there... maybe just because I haven't seen the things backstage and ignore the whispering... but we all now love is blind:)

So now good night! Weekend is coming! Let's party and forget the world for a second!
Oh, wait! Can you believe that Steve Aoki is coming today to Hamburg and I'm probably gonna miss the party! The pre-selling was sold out and they say that there are tickets left at the box office but forget it! There's just gonna be a huge line and and and... Whatever! I'm just gonna throw my own house party here hahaha suuuucks!:D

New Year's Eve Reality

10 days ago was new year's eve.

Traditionally I sleep on new year's eve but my sleepingcycle goes sort of this way: waking up at 3 p.m. and going to bed 6 in the morning. So I knew there was no way I was able to sleep peacefully and decided last minute to go out. It all felt like walking on thin ice. I went to a house party with good friends. I remember how warm and nice it was in there but looking outside it was cold, just old. Raw industry, burning apartment, fire engine, leftover trashcamp, screaming ambulance, deserted autobahn,broken ice.

I don't even know how to explain it but it's just a feeling that I think I want to share those impressions with you. Normally the stuff I post is nice, warm and happy but there is also another side of life and truth is sometimes it is just dark, cold and sad. My weekend was great. I partied til 5 in the morning but on my way home it was cold and raining outside and I saw people sleeping on the street. And it's always like that. No matter what you do. However how you feel. For me it all seems like a soberly dream...

Gretchens Villa ist a cute cafe in the Marktsraße that just opened this summer.
I recognised it a long time ago when I went to one of Laura Honse's Gallery show but never got to go there but finally at the end of the year I decided that I have to!:)
I really like that place because the moment I entered the room it felt warm and cosy. I really like the decorations, the friendly service and the menue. While being there I discover a glass case with cute jewelery by TomShot. So Lönja got me a cute golden bracelet with a grape leaf not that I'm a vine drinker but I like it a lot! Thank you again!

What now?

It's been a while, sorry! Well, I passed the examen for costume design, I just sent my application to the school and now we have to wait and see... Since that I'm looking desperately for an internship and I got a job to earn some money. I still go to my art classes which use to be my portfolio classes but now it's more casual... It's like I'm free to do anything although I actually have to work a lot on my drawing and painting but somehow I came to start crafting which is quite fun actually. I've been working hours to figure out how to do pop-up cards and all... Sometimes it worked out the way I wanted but useually I had no idea what I was actually doing so that it didn't turn out the way I wanted... so I had to do some internet research, looking for people who did already a good job on that and luckily I found something.

Thanks to Willem's Origamic Architecture! There are all kinds of patterns to do that stuff! I always thought that I was patient but I had to realise I'm not because doing that OA almost freaked me out but okay...

So I couldn't sleep until I got something done right and yeah I'm very thankful for the pattern although it didn't turn out perfect (I did it twice) But I got to admit somehow I put the stuff into the right spot and now I think it actually looks pretty cool on that picture I took haha:) The lights coming from the back, throwing out those loong shadows... niiiice. I like it:)

Doing all the crafting made me thinking to go for costume and stage design... but I'd be heart broken to leave the city. But I'm really interested and I think that it'll be awesome to do the concept for the stage and costume together but I don't know... Do you think I should just go for it?

Well, it's 6.30 a.m. I think I'm going to bed now.

Mai Tai Bar

In 24 days is my birthday so every year to that time I have to plan it:)
Somehow I love my birthday It's something I really look foward to it and I just love it! So I went yesterday with Marion and Jenny to that Mai Tai Bar in the Radisson Hotel to check it out. Location was warm, cozy and exotic. As well the flourish server were friendly seductive somehow:) The music in the background had good caribean flair. So yeah pretty cool.
But yeah just not perfect for my birthday. This was more a place to hang out with cool friends and like 95% of the drinks/cocktails had alcohol so I just wanted to order a pina colada.
Next to the bar is actually the Trader Vic's restaurant. The food sounded good. I'm sure to come back there some day to try that out but for now I'm looking for another place for my birthday:) because I rather have a good sit-in, nice food and a cool time with my friends than a fancy bar, with fancy cocktails where everyone dresses up:) It took me awhile to realise that I'd rather want to have a casual birthdayparty than a fancy one:) So I will go for brunch! Really looking foward to it!

Autumn is my favorite season. I love the colorful leaves that shine yellow, orange and red.
Finally I also found a Gingko tree which I was looking for so long! I love it! I could like stand there and just look at it for hours!

During portfolio class the Illustration students also had to paint a waiting room with patients with imaginairy sickness. I wonder how that would look like...

Circus Mignon Dinner Night with the theater group and Werte erleben

Yesterday was a lovely night. Werte erleben our non-profit club that organised the theater group in coorperation with the Deutsches Schauspielhaus invited us to a Dinner Night at Circus Mignon also a non-profit organisation that provided us their saloon and kitchen.
The house was huge and beautiful settled with candle lights.
The kitchen though looked of course a little raw.. but it was lovely how we cooked together and worked things out. Everyone helped and so we did a good dinner!
So thank you everyone again that was a wonderful night!
(I was so mad at me! I forgot my camera at home because I had to charge the battery!
So I had to take pictures with my cellphone which quality isn't that great.. sorry)

It's been awhile that I went to a show of Fuck Art Let's Dance! and I'm so glad I finally made it! Beside seeing Nico, Tim & Romeo doing a good job on stage (I could see how they improved and like them even more now!) it was also nice meeting some friends there again! (I almost didn't go because my warm and cosy bed seduced me to stay home and suggested just to read a book but all of the sudden I was on my bicycle in the middle of the cold street ON MY WAY!) It is also awhile ago that I really took pictures and last night it was really just fun trying out some stuff and not thinking "Oh that pictures has to be perfect!" (I know! You'll see that the pictures turned out a little cheesy haha). To apply for college is pretty much annoying me and so distressful.. So I had a lot of fun there:) Oh yeah, there was also a second band Secrets. Friends of mine told me about them already that they're quite good and after listening to them I had to agree:) Iwas so impressed of that night! So check them out if you haven't!

Five month ago when Gesa and I did our movie project and kinda look for inspiration we were actually sitting next to three friends of ours that were doing some music stuff. To that time they had a band called "Me And The Rotten Tree". The music during the forrest scene was actually the inspiration for the whole movie but didn't have a name yet. But now they got a new drummer and practice some more so that they strive a new path, changed the name of the band and gave the song in the forrest scene a name. All plastic Now is the band's new name and the title of the song is "Sleep Paralysis". Just perfectly going along with our movie..

Sorry! I know it has been a while. After I had done my portfolio last friday I was so exhausted so that I hardly didn't do anything.

Actually it is always raining in Hamburg. Especially during autumn but somehow on this beautiful fall day we did a boat trip and the sun was shining:)
I can't remember when I did this the last time but I thought it was actually pretty nice to watch Hamburg from the Elbe-side. Also it is changing a bit right now because they're about to built this new district "Hafencity"

Saturday Breakfast & Schauspielhaus

So Saturday morning ( 10.30 am haha) I had breakfast with Marion & Lönja at my house. So I prepared everything for it and it was fun:)

Later on I had to be at the Schauspielhaus at 5 pm. The make up doesn't take that long and we start practicing at 6 so I prepared myself sitting in the audience area when I recognised that TYLER DURDEN sponsored a seat:) How funny... So Tyler Durden was here too... Who's Tyler Durden??? The first rule about Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club!<3

By the way thanks to all who came to our third performance. I hope you enjoyed it.
I'm probably not suppose to say that but we did quite some mistakes but though I still think that it was a one hahaha

Well, yesterday I got to hang out with Lönja. We hang out at Mangold next to the Marktstraße.
I was actually pretty suprised because they actually have everything I like. Food, Cocktails and special Tees:) the atmosphere was warm and cozy.

But before that we went to lovely Laura's Vernissage of Glory & Shame. She's a photographer.

Well, my good friend Lönja spontaneously asked me if I want to come with him to Berlin and I said yes:) Actually I never use to like Germany's capital city but this weekend was nice. While it was cold and rainy in Hamburg somehow the sun was shining in Berlin and hardly clouds were in the sky. It felt like a hot summer day... After that we went to the Alstervergnügen/Waker-masters by then Marion joined us and had some good softice

Those fairwells are just made for profit and that people can eat tons of food! :)

Little highlight at 10 pm the nice firework =)

There was a good party going on at the West Coast Lounge next to the freerider shop with pretty cool people but we were just too tired and went early home... =(

So today I got one day off from theater practice and I got to spend it with my best friends Sonja, Marion and Padi! :D
We didn't really know what to do so I suggested to go to a theater play but then we rather felt like eating so we went to bok.
They have all kiinds of asian food so it was really difficult to pick out what to eat:)
But as usually I had just duck. Sonja took Sushi and Marion some thai curry thing and Padi had duck too.
Oh and the dessert was baked bannana with frozen yoghurt. Yammi:)
Honestly, I haven't laughed that much since a while! It was soooo good to hang around with you guys! Love you<3

Oh my! A friend recognised that Kimora Lee Simmons is my celibrity look-alike haha
I mean the difference is that she's 6 ft tall (183 cm) and has Japanese and African American hertiage, use to be a top model and is a power woman... and I'm only 5.347 ft (163 cm) tall and just vietnamese heritage, no name and a little girl with a little overweight haha
Yeah and I don't use that much make up and do those smokey-eyes and blackliner all the time and have all this sex-appeal but if I put all that on I could pretty much look like her haha although I could never earned that fame and glory she has!
She's also known for her honesty and self-confidence...
and I normally prefer to hide behind my huge glasses :)

Today was the CSD in Hamburg but Marion and I didn't feel like the crowdy city and rather wanted to eat out in Eppendorf and enjoy good organic vegetarian food.
TASSAJARA. It's a quite small restaurant at the Eppendorfer Landstraße 4, 20249 Hamburg. I only recognised it because I passed it every day on my way to my portfolio classes:)
We took seats outside because the weather was so good but the cars and smokers were a little annoying although this restaurant is actually smoke-free just the guests next to us didn't know and they were smoking like six cigarettes! Whatever...
Anything else was nice and clean there and the food was really good. Especially the appetizer "pakora". Can't really tell what it is but it comes with three different dips and taste really good:) The main dish came with a salad and it was also sooo good. (I probably felt in love with that restaurant there haha)
They are also pretty known for there vegan cake but we were a little late so there wasn't any left =( but the ice cream also tasted good!
So if you want to try out something new go to this restaurant! It's a little bit more expensive then useual restaurant but it is also organic and fresh!
I renominate this to one of my favorite restaurant in Hamburg!;)

This week my portfolio classes started again and I'm already so exhausted...!
Didn't feel like a week off. Monday was terrible! I was so tired but today it worked better already :)

Sesame Street goes Hamburger DOM!

Well, yesterday the summer DOM started in Hamburg. That's probably one of the biggest fairs in Germany which means a lots of people get there and I useually don't like that ... :)
But though for fun I work as an extra sometimes so this time it was "Sesame Street" the muppet show in Germany produce by NDR under strict terms and condition of the original show.
Yeah, although the weather was cloudy the crew was pretty nice so it was really nice to be there:)

Although I got this week off from my portfolio class I still got homework to do... Never stop practicing, right? So before I started I tried to be more relax and put all the pressure that I have right now away.. and I have to admit that I'm quite satisfied with my improvements at the moment :) There is hope! Somehow I don't know why the inside surface of my hand turned out better than the one outside. I guess because the outside one I draw in the garden and it was a little hot out there :)

Hamburg I love you but are those heavy shower nescessary?!
Today I met with Isabelle, Chrizzle and Stexy because Isy is flying to London tomorrow so we wanted to have lunch together ;)

First we went to "kostbar" in the Sternschanze (Yeah, pretty much like that quarter). The exakt adress is Susannenstr 36, 20357 Hamburg. They have nice caseroles and baked potatos with sour cream and vegetables. But their breakfast menue is also adequate. And of course they have all kinds of drinks.

After that we enjoyed a piece of cake at "Herr Max". It's not far away at Schulterblatt 12, 20357 Hamburg. Quite recommendable. Not comparable to the patisserie Ladurée but still nice in his own style though. Just check it out yourself!

My room

On friday I finally cleaned my room after decades! Wonder how long that will last.. Thank you, thank you, I already received tons of congrats from my mum... She was sooo blessed. I mean that's like the best gift I could give to her...
You don't believe how strange it looks now. My room is not bigger than 10m², yes something like 3,8mx2,6m! That is probably the reason I don't like to let friends into my room. It is very small but now there is some more space than befor haha The only things I have in there are my bed, my desk (I never used, eccept lay up my books and clothes although actually I drop my clothes on the floor ... yes, I'm seriously a mess!) and then there is my normal closet which isn't that big like friends useually imagine :) (I have friends they can even walk in ther closet so mine is compared to them tiny!)
That's my closet.

Saturday was like christmas and birthday on a same day because I went with my mum to get art supplies and I don't even know how I deserved it but she got me almost like everything of art supplies I dreamed of! I felt like crying, passing out, happy and also absolutely overwhelmed. It's such a strange feeling to get almost everything you want but I tried to be careful and not to spoil! I hope to learn to use all the supplies properly! B> the way the place is called "Jerwitz" and they have actually all art supplies an artist could need and if you subscribed you get 2% on everything you buy :)

Later on I went with my father out for dinner at "La Sepia" a portuguese and spanish restaurant specialised on seafood in the Sternschanze.
Half of the guest were probably asian though. I can't tell why but there is something about that restaurant that even people wait outside to get a seat in there while it's really windy there. The things there look pretty old and the dishes are pretty simple but after I took the first bite from my salmon I realised that it tasted really good. So the food is prepared fresh and I think that makes the different!

So today I want to rest but I'm quite overflown with art...

Bolero mexican restaurant

Today I had lunch with lovely Gesa! We haven't seen each other since high school is over which is pretty tough =(
We also wanted to celebrate our movie because we didn't have time to do so.
Well, I totally felt like nachos with guacamole so I suggested to eat at Bolero which offers mexican food. (I love mexican food since I lived with the Flores!)
This restaurant is also Rothembaumchaussee 78 almost next to Zala the indian restaurant I ate last week;)

I felt like being in America, the food was good and the service nice. Gesa had a huge burito and I had my nachos:) I was so hungry that I didn't think of taking a picture of it haha
But later Gesa ordered some Ben&Jerry ice cream and I ordered Coco Choco Cocktail for dessert

While sitting there we had the suprising honor to meet Verona Pooth. It took me a while to recognize her so that I forgot to take a picture, again (sorry) but what I can tell is that she wore some black leather leggings with a long lilac shirt and she was with her cute little boy and her husband Franjo Pooth.
Seriously I wouldn't have recognise them without seeing them in gossip magazines all the time! I mean not that I buy those. They just lay in the waiting rooms:) Can be really difficult to be famous =/ Imagine strange people talking about your life through magazines!
After lunch we took a walk talking about our childhood:) It was so sweet and I absolutely enjoyed it! Thanks and hope to see you after the vacation again<3

That's what I've been working on yesterday and today..
Seems pretty boring I know but can't help it.. I just need tons of practice right now to get use to all this drawing... Even I'm annoyed of all this..
I really don't know what it is but somehow I don't see any improvements! I wonder how come... it's just really frustrating =/
The teacher said that I have to turn off my head while I'm drawing because I think too much!! And when I think too much I also blockade myself to draw!
See, watch and draw! Sounds easier than it is for me...
Oh well, don't know where all leads me to... I hope for a happy end though:)
Sorry for being such a pessimist! What are you giys doing anyway?

So I just stopped drawing David. Actually I did already the whole thing but his feeds and hands are too small and I will just keep it like thise because after working on it almost 30 hourse it won't get better and I totally lost interest to keep it up! Sorry...

Picknick Planten un Blomen

Hamburg's most beautiful parc in the center of the city and also one of my favorite places!
I mean I grew up here und there's nothing where I feel more comfortable!
Tons of beautiful flowers and trees, a huge playground, fountains, bridges, chess grounds, places to dance, theater, shows, inline skating or ice skating in the winter but I'm most likely at the japanese garden near the tea house :)

So that where I useually picnic like I just did this weekend again!
This time with Sophia and Yannick. I know them both from "Spring Awakening".

Actually we wanted to have the others there too but they're all on vacation!
But that was okay so there was more ice cream left for me haha ;)
It was fun! And if you wonder about those basket, we got them from a charity party;)
I love them! Thank you whoever the sponsor was! (Sorry, I know a little too much of that "posing" in the picture haha)

Zala, all you can eat indian cuisine

Well, after freakin working all morning on drawing the most famous sculpture in art history , David by Michelangelo, I had a three hour break before the second unit start.

Obviously I was starving and I totally felt like curry and indian food and while I was riding up the Rothenbaum Chaussee up I saw "All you can eat - india buffet"!
So I defenitly wanted to try that out.
The buffet was quite small but the food tasted good. I was pretty satiesfied eccept that they didn't offer drinks and desserts inklusive;) But the price was alright.
Right across the street is Vapiano and if you think like this you only get a dish for the same price;)
Last but not least the music was funky! I mean all sort of Pop music in just the indian version, very amusing :D

Taking portfolio classes

Good morning!
Oh well, I tell ya, I could hardly sleep last night because it's sooo hot here! But I was quite excited too thus today started my portfolio classes.
Those of you who didn't know yet: I want to apply for costume design here in Hamburg :) and like any other college, academy or university I need a portfolio!
Since the portfolio is due October 8th there is not much time left for me...
So that's why I'm taking two units a day from Monday - Thursday. The first one is from 9.30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the second one is at 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Hopefully this will work out! I mean I have to put so much effort into this project like I never have before!

So now I got to do my homework and later the second unit will start;)
I will keep you updated with my work!
