Hello Long Beach!

Goodbye Hamburg! Hello California! Impressions from the last two weeks. Long story short: On August 13th we left for California. We stayed 6 days at Motel 6. Every day we were looking at apartments and for  rooms... We met a lot of interesting people! After three days we realized that we fell in love with the beach so we decided to find something at Belmont Shore - the nicest place in Long Beach. We didn't find anything yet at that point so on that very monday we wanted to stay another night at Motel 6 but they said they're fully booked... We had only an hour to pack all our stuff to get out of there and at the same time we had an appointment to look at a Studio. Last chance and WE GOT IT! Thank you so much Robert and his wife! I guess being homeless exchange student evoke their need to help us because they know how it is to go abroad and we are so thankful for their suport und help we get from them!!!
So now Orange and I are sharing a studio next to the beach and we're so happy about it. I love taking my cruiser and just ride along the beach. Check out the pictures! It's amazing! Never thought I would like the beach so much:)
So tomorrow the sign in for the classes starts which I am very excited about. So far I got to know some other exchange students from the events which are really nice:)  I can feel the change already... I'm soo tanned ! Turning into a shadow.. And I know lots of you won't be happy to hear about this but next week I'm gonna change my hair color... before I left I cut off a lot already.. So this was a plan I had for a long time before, that when I come back to the United States to do that. So I hope you will still follow and support my new experiences here;) So enjoy the impressions (99 pictures!) I took with my camera and my cellphone!

Thanks for your and everyones support! Jade, Vincent, Loenja, me and my mum at Hamburg Airport:)
